The Club Health Check developed by the Australian Sports Commission and STARCLUB Survey (for South Australian clubs and associations) developed by the Office for Recreation and Sport South Australia, are great online assessment tools for softball clubs and associations to identify how they are operating, identify priorities for improvement, make informed decisions and assist with planning.
The National Affiliation Standards have been developed by Softball Australia as part of its Club and Association Development Strategy, focusing on creating safe, welcoming and healthy environments to attract and retain members. Softball Australia would like all softball clubs and associations to complete the National Affiliation Standards Checklist to assess whether they are meeting the standard required of affiliates. The quick and easy checklist only takes two minutes to complete. Affiliates are encouraged to complete the checklist every 12 months.
